DE Dancers Bring the “Energy” at Our Last Competition of the 2025 Season

On Saturday, April 26th, 2025, our Dance Expressions company participated in the Energy Dance Competition at Chesapeake Arts Center in Brooklyn Park, Maryland. This was our last regional competition of the season, and we were so impressed with all of the performances. All the company members brought tremendous energy to their dances and seemed to have a fun time with their peers. 

Something we love about Energy’s regional competition is their improvisation contest! They held two sessions: one for children aged 11 and under and one for those aged 12 and up. For the contest, the DJ will select a random song, and the dancers will have to improvise on the spot to the music that is played. This was an exciting opportunity for our dancers to showcase their unique artistry. We were so proud that many of our dancers participated, and it was exciting to have two of our dancers, Grace Elizabeth Douglas (11 and under) and Skyler Wynn (12 and up), make it to the top three in their respective age divisions!
