Pam has been with Dance Expressions since it’s opening in ’91. She is a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she double majored in dance and psychology. Pam danced with the University Dance Company and Tony Powell Music and Movement Company. She has also been a guest artist and choreographer with other local modern companies. Pam is a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and a certified Cecchetti teacher. Pam is also a member of the Maryland Council for dance. She has been teaching for over 20 years and currently teaches ballet, tap, jazz and modern. She is also the mother of Rebekah, Rachel & Ryan.
Charlene Jackson - Teacher / Artistic Director - charlene@danceexpressionsinc.com
Charlene has been with Dance Expressions since September 1994. She has a wonderful rapport with her students and infuses them with the excitement of dance. Charlene also has danced her entire life and has been teaching for over 15 years. She now teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. Charlene continues to keep her styles up to date by training with many great dancers locally and nationally. Charlene brings a contemporary and exciting approach to her popular hip-hop class and challenging tap classes.
Jennifer Bailey - Teacher
Jen grew up dancing at Dance Expressions and is a graduate of George Mason University where while on scholarship she earned her BFA in dance and education. She danced and performed with the University Dance Company as well as a being a guest artist with other modern companies. Jen is a Cecchetti certified teacher and continues to train in the Cecchetti method. A wonderful dancer and exceptional teacher; Jen currently teaches ballet, modern.and jazz. Jen is also the mother of Mary Grace.
Liz Dawson – Teacher
Liz graduated from the University of Maryland earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and English Language and Literature. She was a Creative and Performing Arts Scholar as well as a dual recipient of the Dorothy Madden Citizenship Award for Outstanding Artistry and Choreography. She has had the privilege of working with artists including Monica Bill Barnes, David Dorfman, Tzveta Kassabova, Dianne McIntyre, Dawn Springer, and Ed Tyler. In addition to teaching Liz continues to pursue her interests in choreography, performance, writing, and yoga. She is excited to bring her passion for dance, music, and creative expression to the studio where she grew up dancing.
Moira Curtis – Teacher
Moria has been part of Dance Expressions family since she was 4 years old. She has been a vital part of our office staff for 3 years. Moira has been continuing her dance training, assisting in classes and substitute teaching. Moira is a certified Grade I Cecchetti teacher. While she continues her teacher training in the Cecchetti method, she is also studying at the University of Maryland. We are very excited that she’ll be teaching ballet, tap,and jazz as well as working in our office.
Sabrina Donovan – Teacher
Sabrina began dancing at Dance Expressions in 1992 and has grown up in the studio. Sabrina teaches ballet, tap, jazz and our adult classes. She recently earned her AA degree and is now studying at UMUC. Sabrina is a Grade I Cecchetti teacher and continues to further her teacher training.

Marisa joined the staff of Dance Expressions in the fall of 2005. Although you may not see her she is behind the scenes keeping our office running smoothly. When she isn’t in the office she is either on the football field with her sons Johnny & Jacob or on the soccer field with her daughter Jenna, who is also a student at Dance Expressions.
