Kate Kleiber - Director/Owner
Kate brings over 20 years of dance studio management experience to Dance Expressions. As the studio founder, she has promoted her philosophy of dance and art appreciation, and combined them with her love of children to create a wonderful environment for dance education.

Pam Schrier - Artistic Director/Teacher
Pam has been with Dance Expressions since it’s opening in ’91. She has been dancing all of her life. She is a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she double majored in psychology and dance. Pam danced with the University Dance Company and Tony Powell Music and Movement Company. Pam teaches ballet, tap, jazz and modern. She is also the mother of Rebekah, Rachel & Ryan.

Charlene Jackson - Teacher
Charlene has been with Dance Expression since September 1994. She has a wonderful rapport with her students and infuses them with the excitement of dance. Char also has danced her entire life and now teaches ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical.

Shanon Sadaka - Teacher
Shanon has been with DE since the beginning; first as a student and then became a teacher in 1999. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Accounting. During the day she is the Assistant Controller of a company and by night - a fun and exciting Tap & Jazz Dance Teacher!

Jennifer Bailey - Teacher
Jen also grew up at Dance Expressions and is a recent graduate of George Mason University where she majored in dance and education. She also danced with the University Dance Company. A wonderful dancer, Jen teaches ballet, tap, jazz and modern. Jen is also an English teacher at Holy Trinity in Bowie.

Jennifer Aversa - Teacher
Jennifer is a graduate of Towson University where she performed with the Towson Dance Company She is currently a performer with Cross Currents Dance Company. Jennifer teaches ballet, tap, jazz, and modern.

Sabrina Donovan – Teacher
Sabrina began dancing at Dance Expressions in 1992 and has grown up in the studio. Sabrina now teaches ballet, tap, jazz & poms. When she isn’t in the studio she is studying to become a physical therapist.

Emily Foster – Teacher
Emily is a senior at Towson University. She is studying public relations and is interning at the Washington Speakers Bureau. She has been with Dance Expressions for 14 years as a student and is now teaching ballet, tap & jazz.

Catherine Gallagher – Teacher
Catherine is also an alumna of Dance Expressions. She has been with the studio for 14 years. She is a student at AACC. She will continue her studies to become an athletic trainer. She teaches tap, jazz & ballet.

Marisa Surdick – Office Manager
Marisa joined the staff of Dance Expressions in the fall of 2005. Although you may not see her she is behind the scenes keeping our office running smoothly. When she isn’t in the office she is either on the football field with her sons Johnny & Jacob or on the soccer field with her daughter Jenna, who is also a student at Dance Expressions.
